M-01
Landscape inventory
Discovery of active interfaces, dependencies and classification by criticality. There are almost always integrations nobody remembered existed.
M-02
Risk assessment and strategy
Exposure by version, upgrade or exit scenarios and a total cost comparison. The deliverable is a substantiated decision, not a generic recommendation.
M-03
Upgrade and containerise
Migration to the current engine and container deployment, without altering the functional architecture. The shortest route when the priority is exiting the risk.
M-04
Migrate to events in waves
Reimplementation on Kafka and Flink with coexistence bridges: old and new run together while verification happens, and the original flow is retired only once proven. Strangler Fig, applied properly.
SEC 03 / 03 — DIAGRAM
Wave migration with a coexistence bridge
Cutover is decided by verified parity, not by calendar: when the new platform reproduces the old one above 99.9% for an agreed period, the original source is retired and the bridge dismantled.
